The MLSD Competition Team offers dancers the opportunity to take their passion for dance to the next level while building confidence, discipline, teamwork, and lifelong friendships. Open to dancers from kindergarten through high school, our competition program challenges dancers to grow both technically and artistically while experiencing the excitement of performing throughout the season. With more than 10 years of competition experience, MLSD has one of the longest-standing competition programs in the area. Our dancers have the opportunity to travel to competitions, perform on new stages, meet and connect with dancers from other studios, and create memories that last far beyond the dance season. Along the way, they develop resilience, sportsmanship, leadership, and a strong work ethic while celebrating each other's successes. Competitive dance is about so much more than trophies—it's about setting goals, pushing personal limits, gaining valuable performance experience, and becoming part of a supportive dance family.
